About B&H Cricket Academy
Developing Cricketers. Building Confidence. Creating Opportunities.
B&H Cricket Academy was founded with one simple goal: to give young players in Cambodia the opportunity to learn, enjoy and develop through cricket in a positive, structured and supportive environment.
Our academy is led by two passionate cricket coaches who both represent the Cambodia National Cricket Team. With experience competing at international level, we bring our knowledge, passion and experience from the game directly into our coaching sessions.
We work with young players of different abilities, from those picking up a cricket bat for the first time to players looking to take their skills to the next level.
We believe cricket is about more than just batting, bowling and fielding. Our coaching focuses on developing confidence, teamwork, discipline, communication, sportsmanship and a love for the game.
A Safe Environment for Young Players
The safety and wellbeing of our players is one of our highest priorities. Both of our coaches hold safeguarding and first aid qualifications, ensuring that our sessions are delivered with a strong focus on child safety, wellbeing and responsible coaching.
We aim to create an environment where every child feels safe, included, respected and encouraged to improve.

At B&H Cricket Academy, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every player develops differently, so we focus on building strong fundamentals while adapting our coaching to the age, ability and individual needs of each player.

Frequently Asked Questions
We currently welcome young players from 6 to 16 years old. Our sessions are designed to accommodate different ages, abilities and levels of cricket experience.
Not at all! Our programmes are suitable for complete beginners as well as players who already have cricket experience. We meet each player at their current level and help them develop from there.
No. B&H Cricket Academy provides the cricket equipment needed for our sessions, including bats, balls and other training equipment. Players are welcome to bring their own equipment if they have it.
Our current academy sessions are held at Chroy Changvar High School in Phnom Penh. As our academy grows, we plan to expand to additional locations and partner schools.
Our standard academy programme runs for 10 weeks, providing players with a structured period of consistent training and development.
Players should wear comfortable sports clothing and suitable sports shoes that allow them to move freely and participate safely. Cricket-specific clothing is not required.
Don't worry — they won't lose the session. We understand that children can occasionally have other commitments or be unable to attend. We will do our best to ensure they can continue their development without feeling that they have missed out.
Yes, absolutely. We offer private and small-group coaching for players who want more individual attention or would like to focus on specific areas of their game, such as batting, bowling, fielding or overall performance.
Yes! We work with schools to introduce and develop cricket through programmes such as PE sessions, cricket taster sessions, after-school activities and ongoing cricket programmes.
Of course! We would love to introduce cricket to your students. Our taster sessions are designed to be fun, engaging and accessible, even for students who have never played cricket before. Schools can contact us to discuss their requirements and arrange a suitable session.
At B&H Cricket Academy, we aim to give players a clear pathway for continued development. Players can progress from our introductory and development programmes into more advanced training and competitive playing opportunities as their skills, confidence and experience develop. As players progress, we can help guide them towards school cricket, local competitions, representative opportunities and higher levels of cricket where appropriate. Our goal is not simply to teach children how to play cricket — it's to help them develop the skills and confidence to keep progressing in the game.
